100,000 tickets already sold for Audi Cup

The Audi Cup has been met with huge response and eager anticipation: More than 100,000 soccer fans have secured their tickets for the meetings between FC Bayern München, AC Milan, Manchester United and Boca Juniors at Munich’s Allianz Arena on July 29 and 30. Only a few remaining tickets are available for the final day of the tournament that is making its debut on the occasion of the Audi brand’s 100th anniversary.

Audi gets top ratings for safety

The latest Audi models have garnered top ratings for safety in four prestigious tests. The Audi A4 and Q5 achieved a top five-star rating in the new and more stringent Euro New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) safety tests. The U.S. National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) confirmed this outstanding collision performance and gave both cars a five-star rating in all categories. In addition, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), a U.S. consumer protection organization, proclaimed the Audi Q5 its “Top Safety Pick” – the best buy when it comes to safety.

Audi TDI to reduce carbon emissions with The Nature Conservancy

Audi has committed to supporting The Nature Conservancy to help reduce carbon emissions as part of its public awareness campaign for Audi TDI clean diesel engines, which reduce carbon emissions by 20% over gasoline.  Audi will donate $1 to The Nature Conservancy’s voluntary carbon offset program for every Facebook user who joins the cause at , up to $25,000.

The Art Directors Club (ADC) of Europe has awarded the Audi “Robbery’ TV commercial with its gold medal as the best commercial in 2008. At the awards ceremony in Barcelona, the intelligent humor of the promotional film created by kempertrautmann agency in Hamburg won over the 51-member jury made up of the leading creatives from 19 European countries.
